Newborn: Baby Frankie
World; meet baby Frankie. A week old, all sleepy and serene in my studio. This was such a lovely, gentle shoot; I know Frankie’s nana as an ex-colleague, and it felt so lovely to have them all there to celebrate this little girl’s arrival.
We chatted about life and motherhood, and how things have changed since we last saw each other as I captured the being and details of this beautiful newborn girl.
A lot of the time my work doesn’t feel like work; I so enjoy giving families the opportunity to come and celebrate their love in my studio. It’s set in a castle on a private estate surrounded by incredible Cotswolds countryside - how amazing to be able to offer that as a retreat from everyday life.
It felt really wonderful to have these guys here, and a real acknowledgement of how my life has changed in the past few years. So thank you to Chelsea, Sonia (and of course little brother Luca & baby Frankie) for trusting me to capture these sacred newborn days.
