I am based in a castle studio near the Bath area and do most of my maternity & motherhood shoots in this space but will travel (for mileage) and I am frequently in the Hertfordshire/London area so do enquire if you’re further afield.

What’s the process?
Once you’ve reached out, I’ll send you a guide to my services and my style. You are welcome to ask any questions you need to make sure this is right for you. Once the booking has been agreed, I will send you a style guide, a questionnaire and a non-scary contract. By the time the day arrives, you’ll be all prepared and excited for our shoot - promise!
What time of day is best?
All photographers will tell you that the light as the sun rises or sets is magical because it genuinely is other worldly. I especially recommend these times for maternity & motherhood but we can discuss other times if this doesn’t work for you.
For indoors sessions, any time of day that works with your schedule is perfect.
What if it rains?
If it drizzles we proceed; a little smatter of rain can be epic & atmospheric. If it pours, we can absolutely reschedule; it’s best for my equipment and your pictures that we don’t get drenched. I keep enough free space in my diary that we can usually find something to work for everyone if we need to find a different date.
What will I wear?
For maternity & motherhood shoots, it’s best to wear something with some movement in a neutral tone without logos or patterns. Feel free to send me links on websites or pictures of your existing outfits (Zara is fantastic for inspiration or buying your outfit). I can send you my style guide for some ideas, along with my client closet - you’re welcome to borrow anything that might fit you.
Will you help me feel beautiful?
Yes, of course. I will encourage poses and movement to help you look your best. My shoots are relaxed, fun & empowering; we will play music and chat throughout the shoot to help you feel more natural. I will give gentle instruction & encourage natural movement to bring some life & character. Trust me that you look so much more beautiful than you believe; I have yet to do a maternity or motherhood shoot without glowing feedback.
Why should I pick you?
I am a mother myself; I know how it feels to be vulnerable and emotionally fraught about your changing body. I want you to look absolutely glowing and to feel like a goddess in these pictures, and I do everything in my power to achieve this. I truly believe that this fleeting stage is worth celebrating, and you will never regret getting photos to honour the connection between you and this new life you’ve created. Without wanting to sound like a L’Oreal ad; you’re worth it, mama.
