New life, is there anything more magical or more beautiful?
This little guy here was the absolute dream and slept the whole shoot with no shushing or rocking or effort. Just blissful unawareness of me studying him with my camera, or how much he has changed the lives of the beautiful family he’s part of.
Newborn photography is something I have fallen into as a result of my own motherhood, and it has got to be one of the happiest accidents of my existence. I genuinely cannot believe we grow these beings in our beings; that their genes are borne of ours. I always knew this was the case, of course, but there’s something special about knowing this in your bones. About having gone through this process - this transformation - yourself, and knowing the enormous impact of these tiny humans.
Little Ivo; you are so loved, I could feel this acutely in my studio, and I walked away from this shoot touched by how much that was the case. Some sessions have a special place in your heart, and this was one of them.
